Who We Are
Welcome! We have been adventuring together in love and in the wild natural world for 10 years now. Adventure is how we fell in love and built our solid partnership. Over the years, we have built a Sierra Lifestyle that leaves the noise, consumerism, and troubles of town behind. Our reverence for nature combined with our primary love language of quality time outdoors and epic photography in these wild places came together in a way that we can help others experience what we feel is our best day out together.

We hunt natural light, even if we have to start hiking at 3am to be at the right place and the right time, in the right season. We love to go backpacking in Yosemite, get after it locally on ski tours in the Sierra Nevada mountains, laze about in our big backyard of the Emigrant Wilderness, beat the heat “on the rio” down in the Tuolumne River Canyon, and once a year we raft the Grand Canyon together.

How we are Different
Our many decades living in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and honing of our photographic skillsets make us the ideal adventure photographers. We travel well & chase the very best light.
We like to plan our work so that it is easy to work our plan. We are detail oriented balanced with big picture goals when it comes to planning an adventure. With all logistics taken care of before a trip begins, we are able to build in chill time, flexibility, and plan Bs, Cs, & Ds that are just as epic as our plan As. We love weather and are always well prepared for it.
Our secret stash of frontcountry gems (like the “Other Yosemite” and “Secret Sierra”) get couples away from the beaten adventure elopement tour circuit in order to discover their own unique spot. For the more adventurous couples, we are able to go farther into the wild with our adventure guide buddies who offer white water rafting, snow cat, and equine support to locations that the roads and the masses can not access.

Our most epic adventure so far. Some say that 30 days in The Big Ditch can break a relationship. We set out together right after Valentine’s Day to prove them wrong. After nearly 10 years of adventuring together we felt like we were ready to push the boundaries of our relationship with a month long expedition.

As photographers, artistic integrity is a value we hold dear. Most photographers only edit for screen viewing. We edit for screen and separately for print--two distinct processes for two distinct goals--so you to have all the available color spectrum in your printed goods.
